Breast Cancer Awareness

At the close of the month of October, for many there is much to be sad about. October is widely known as Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Awareness is key. But what else is key, is to be aware of those who are the "silent sufferers." Those being the ones who are not diagnosed with the disease, but are helping someone who is diagnosed. Those are the "silent sufferers."

At some point in life, everyone knows someone who is suffering, either with or without breast cancer. But what most people forget about being aware, is that both men and women suffer.


That is correct. Men suffer from breast cancer along with women. Although they only make up around 1% of all cases, the majority of those male cases are very severe.

Also severe, is those that suffer along with their loved ones.

Personal side to the story:

My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer, and also lost the fight after nine hard years. She was the one who went through all the physical pain and suffering, but my father, wife, son, and myself all suffer mentally. It has been four years since her passing.

While I do not ask for your sympathy, I do ask for you to be aware. Be aware that men are not immune from breast cancer. Be aware of how to check yourself, both male and female. Don't be afraid to ask your doctor if you suspect something, and don't hesitate to ask your partner for help.

GM Merges With Chrysler!

Briefly, it is or will be reported soon that GM has bought and merged with Chrysler via Cerebus. Here are some notes as everything is still not in its final state:

GMAC sought out to change its finance and mortgage company to a holding company. This would allow GMAC to receive some of the $700 billion bailout money. Asking for the money would help fund their purchasing power into Chrysler.

The AssociatedPress is reporting that GM lobbied for around $10 - $15 billion to help with keeping the two companies funded as well as purchasing power.

Here is where this reporting gets tricky! Word is that the merger talks are complete. The word is also that Chrysler would be keeping the Jeep line, their mini-van line, the new Dodge Ram, and would be getting a large sum of money that has yet to be determined. While these talks have not largely been made public, this information cannot be linked to any sources.

Joe Biden: A Day In The Life

This is a comedic look into the daily interactions with Joe Biden.


At a job interview:
Since Joe Biden is running for 2nd in command of this nation, it is rather fitting that he undergo a "job interview." So here are some snippets of how the interview went down.

"What would you bring to this nation to add value to it?"
"Are you kidding? Is this a joke?"
"No. I want to know what you would add to this nation."
"Who is writing your questions?"
"I wrote these questions. If we were to elect you, we want some answers first."
"Are you kidding?"


At a lunch date:
After the exhuasting interview process, Biden was hungry and decided to get a bite to eat at a local steak house. Here is some of what was said between the waiter and Joe.

"Can I get you two something to drink?"
"Is this a joke?"
Finally after the drinks arrive, the waiter took the order and asked "How would you like your steak cooked?"
"Are you kidding? Who's writing these questions?"


At the doctor's office:
After enjoying lunch, at the taxpayers expense, biden had an appointment with his doctor about an "issue" he had experienced. (This is for comedic purposes and we are not implying that this is true.) So, what did they discuss?

"Are you experiencing symptoms of Erectile Dysfunction?"
"Is this a joke?"
"No Mr. Biden. This is a serious matter! Have you ever experienced any symptoms relating to ED?"
"Who is writing these questions?"

At the bank:
His final agenda item was to go to the bank. How did that go down?

"Hello, can I get some help over here?"
"Is this a joke?"
"No!"
"And who are you?"
"I'm Joe Biden, and I need to make a deposit."
"Are you kidding?"
"No?"
"Are you wanting this to be redistributed evenly?"
"What!?!"
"Hey guys! Quick! This guy wants to give us HIS money!"
"NO, NO, NO! That's MY money, and YOU can't have it! I lobbied hard for it."


Now, while this story is pure satire, it illustrates how Joe Biden's words can be used in everyday situations. Just like Barack Obama's idea for wealth redistribution!

Obama: Change We Can(not) Believe In

While out campaigning in Canton, Ohio, Barack Obama wanted to remind those there why he is running for office. As reported by the Associated Press:

"In one week, we can choose hope over fear, unity over division, the promise of change over the power of the status quo," Obama said, "In one week, we can come together as one nation, and one people, and once more choose our better history. That's what's at stake."

However, what Obama fails to understand is what he says.

Hope over fear? Hope over fear is when the people know they are electing someone who will not side with Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad against Israel.

Unity over division? Unity over division is when the people are not coerced into race bating by the electorate.

Choose our better history? Choosing a better history is knowing that they are electing someone who will not "spread the wealth around." Choosing a better history is knowing that they are not electing someone who will not silence free speech or challenge the 2nd amendment.

"The change we need isn't just about new programs and policies," Obama said to a roaring crowd at Canton's civic center. "It's about a new attitude, it's about new politics -- a politics that calls on our better angels instead of encouraging our worst instincts."

The politics of our better angels would not allow us to sit in a church with a preacher like Rev. Jeremiah Wright for 20 years. Our better angels would not allow us to associate with people who target our own country like William Ayers or who would them help start our career.

New politics? The spreading of the peoples wealth is not new politics. It's the politics of the past of those like Karl Marx.

"Obama spoke of restoring a sense of higher purpose to the country. He kicked up patriotic echoes of his 2004 speech at the Democratic National Convention that put him on a national stage. He said America is about "seeing the highest mountaintop from the deepest of valleys."

Just not getting it again, Obama fails to understand the mission of this nation. That is, the higher purpose of the country is to already be at the highest mountaintop looking up. While it may be okay for Obama to take this country to all time lows, that might not be what the people want.

The people don't want to look from the bottom of the valley up at countries like Russia, North Korea, or Iran. The people don't want to look from the bottom for a check to come by way of wealth redistribution. The people don't want to see their investments deteriorate for fear of tax increases. The people don't want to socialize the markets or socialize health care. The people don't want their rights of free speech and the bearing of arms violated. They also don't want to fear the judges that would be appointed.

The people should not fear looking up from "the deepest of valleys," but should be optimistic in restoring the country from the highest mountaintop looking up.

FREE SPEECH: TAKE TWO!

For many years now, Freedom of Speech has been tried and tested. Everyday it is tested in schools, courts, and most recently the media.

Wikipedia defines free speech as: "The freedom to speak freely without censorship or limitation."

In the blog world, RealClearPolitics is used and searched through daily by many looking to express their right to free speech. So how does RCP and free speech start an impending war against each other?

Recently, two posters have been voicing their concern to RCP for either not allowing their posts to be posted or allowing their posts only to remove them without any communication to the poster. Specifically, who are these two?

Roger's letter to RCP alleges that:

There have been allegations made, mostly rumors, but enough of them to be troubling, that RCP is actually being monitored by an Obama agent, and that if anything overly critical about the Obamas is posted to RCP it will be immediately taken down.

In Mr. Gardner's fight to keep free speech alive, he noticed that a post that questions Obama's birth certificate legitimacy had been one of those removed. In response, and defense of independantvoter, he has links posted on his site and re-submitted to RCP.

There could be much made regarding Obama's legitimacy with his birth certificate, and if RCP is being monitored by an Obama agent, one would wonder.

There has been great concern regarding this very issue, and RCP has a right as a media outlet to allow these posts to be allowed. As citizens of this country, we have a right to know who we are electing and whether they are Constitutionally allowed to be elected. With Obama failing to produce proper evidence, it is of great concern to know.

Please take the time and sift through the compelling case against Barack Obama using the links provided earlier. This is vital to the protection of America as a nation and the people there of.

Obama Going Against His Words?

Before today, the headlines in the news and on the newspapers was all about Obama and his response to "Joe the Plumber." In its simplest form, Obama informed "Joe" that he thought it fair to redistribute the wealth around a little.

Well, with the WSJ reporting that Obama recently brought in a record $150 million dollars for September, there is a question that is sure to be in the head of many of the likes of the "Joe the Plumbers" of America. That question is this:

Obama, why not be a little Patriotic and spread that wealth around a little bit?

However, that might not be an option considering he is spending as liberal as his record. Dropping a good $30+ million recently in TV ads, let alone 30 minute ad spots, it might not be that easy to spread his wealth. Was he for it before he was against it?

The Real Issue: Greed or the American Dream?

History has shown us that people, in times, will reshape a nation just like our founding fathers. Our fathers before us left a nation that led its people into a time of turmoil, to come to what we know as America. This country was founded on the principle of the American Dream. But, for many years now the American Dream has been lost, only to be driven and replaced by greed.

In Edmund Burke's speech on conciliation with America said, "By adverting to the dignity of this high calling our ancestors have turned a savage wilderness into a glorious empire, and have made the most extensive and the only honorable conquests - not by destroying but by promoting the wealth, the number, the happiness of the human race."

In the progression from the American Dream to the principle of greed, it may help to define the two. Wikipedia defines the American Dream as a "belief in the freedom that allows all citizens and residents of the United States to achieve their goals in life through hard work." They define greed as,"the desire to aquire beyond the needs of the individual, especially when this accumulation of possession is the selfish desire for or pursuit of money, wealth, power, or other possessions."

For many years, the American Dream is what separated this nation from others. This idea is what has drawn so many people to America. The simple idea that one could achieve thier dreams and aspirations, whatever they may be, without protest. Now, while both the Dream and Greed require work, it is the difference in thought of why and what that work is for.

The work for the American Dream is hard work. In a famous lecture by Frederick Douglass titled Self-Made Men, he says that "there is nothing good, great or desirable. . .that does not come by some kind of labor," namely "WORK! WORK!! WORK!!! WORK!!!!" While it does take work to satisfy our greedy desires, it is why that makes the difference.

Greed is driven by the desire to obtain in excess, while the American Dream is just the desire to obtain. On both sides of the economic turmoil facing today, that is where one needs to look. The desire to obtain in excess! That excess is monetary. Both sides were driven by greed. The banks and lending institutions were willing to do anything to loan out money, and there were many people willing to sign on the dotted line. With wanting to make a buck, these companies were told to deregulate by the government and to basically lend to all. And those who fell prey, were trying to achieve their "American Dream."

The blame goes both ways. By those trying to achieve, and those offering. Far too many people aren't willing to accept the blame for the mess that this nation has found itself in. The pursuit of the American Dream has led many to greed. Once a prosperous nation, now a nation in debt.

Now, revisiting what Burke said about "promoting wealth [and] the happiness of the human race." That is synonymous with the American Dream, and also with greed. The human race is very desirous to be happy and also to increase themselves on all levels. But it is the right and the wrong with their desires.

In a debate on October 15 in 1858, Abraham Lincoln said, "It is the eternal struggle between these two principles -- right and wrong -- throughout the world. They are the two principles that have stood face to face from the beginning of time. . ." Although one is right in their choice to pursue the American Dream, it is wrong if that Dream is led by greed.

There is a "right and wrong" that goes along with everything, but one must know and understand the consequences with greed and how that greed can lead and overcome the Dream. Acceptance of right and wrong must be admitted from both sides, whether that be the lender or the lendee. While there is a great feeling in the accomplishment of the American Dream through hard work, there is a greater sense through which how hard that work is.

So, with all the finger pointing going on today and no one willing to accept the blame, the real issue comes down to the American Dream or GREED.

Time to Get to Work


There is a time to get to work, and that time is now. With so much corruption surrounding one party in this election, and one who just won't do what is asked of him by the people, there is a great need to do this work.

What is this work that needs to be done? Find the common sense conservative. Who or what is that?

NO TIES! This means that whomever it is, they need not have any ties at all. Absolutely no friends with special interest groups that will do anything for their views to be. The only tie permitted would be THE PEOPLE. Someone tied closely with the cause of the people.

VALUES! This means that they are strong with their values, and that their values are intertwined with those of THE PEOPLE. They would hold traditional values equal to or exceeding that of the founding fathers of this great nation.

FISCALLY RESPONSIBLE! This means that the nation would be a model to the people. For the people to know that the nation is not working to get out of debt, but working to contain financial security.

BORDERS! This means that they would understand the responsibility of our borders. Knowing the breaching of our borders has too many impacts on THE PEOPLE. The effects being but not limited to: the education level in the schools, the medical burden of the illnesses, and making sure that jobs are for the Americans here and not sold to the lowest bidding illegal border jumper.

CULTURE! This means that they would understand the American Dream and what it really is. That Dream being that no matter how hard you work, how much courage you have, and without limits on social classes, one can get a better way of life. That it takes the work of THE PEOPLE and not with or by the government.

LANGUAGE! This means that they would understand that the language of this nation is ENGLISH. That other languages may be used to communicate, but that the English language must be needed in the order to conduct all official business at ALL levels, whether on the street or in the rooms of the courts and halls of the government.

NATIONAL SECURITY! This means that they would understand the need and importance of the security of this nation. That the security of THE PEOPLE and what they are, come at any cost. That there is NO limit to cost for American Freedom, and the security of the nation.

FOREIGN POLICY! This means that they would understand the importance of relating to foreign nations as they relate to America and what it stands for.

TAXES! This means that they understand the importance and meaning of taxes. That they should be fair, and not used to redistribute wealth.

Now, it is important to note that this in no way is a total list. There are more issues that many Americans deem important, however, this list contains some of the most pressing that common sense conservatives hold close to them.

A common sense conservative know that words do have meaning.

A common sense conservative is what is needed for America, and THE PEOPLE.

Now; it's time to get to work!

What is Wrong Here?


Today, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is out trying to push another stimulus package. What does this mean? Is this the next "fix-all" step?

First, it is important to remember what happened earlier this year. The Economic Stimulus Act of 2008. This was enacted on February 13 and had a projected cost at over $150 billion. More importantly was their rationale for this act. They touted this Act as something that would stimulate businesses and consumers to spend. They were in the hopes that it would boost consumer spending and that targeted tax incentives would boost business spending.

This piece of legislation was presented to the American people as a way that would add confidence to the markets, and take a lot of the fear away.

Second, it is important not to forget what happened most recently. Most are saying that the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 is the largest movement towards a socialist state that this country has ever seen. Enacted on October 3, and with an estimated cost hovering at the heights of $850 billion and beyond, it was pressed to stabilize the economy and to improve liquidity for investor confidence.

What type of confidence did it invest? NONE. The DOW has made record drops, leaving many to wonder and speculate to the point that many of those same people pulled their money out of the market.

So, what was next? The G7 met over the weekend, and together agreed that action was to be taken and to be acted on quickly. Their quick actions led the investment markets to make incredible gains. Today, the DOW gained 936.42 pts. to close at 9387.61. The biggest single gain in history.

Which brings us back to what Nancy Pelosi brought up today, and that being yet another "stimulus package." Where does she think this money would come from? Our national debt is SO large, it now does not fit on the debt calculator in NYC. With the government already having spent more than $1 trillion ($1,000,000,000,000) this year, what would lead anyone to think that any more would fix it? That is pure INSANITY! Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

How many times will they try a stimulus package or any other type of emergency economic act? When will they realize that what they are doing is insane? According to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, maybe just one more time.

Did Washington Act Too Soon?



More than two weeks ago, politicians began talk about a bailout plan. While they were in their respected offices, the voice of the people was loud and clear about not wanting the bill passed. However, Washington did not agree and further pushed it along with the end result of having it pass within just a week of the very first draft.

Well, the people were still in opposition of the bailout plan and with due respect. As they watched gas prices drop, they also watched the markets drop in record time. With growing frustration, and little to no retirement left in their IRA or 401k accounts, many wondered what or who was next.

Time has now shown this weekend, that this was not limited to only here in America. It has also shown that the initial $700b+ wasn't enough. Those voices on the street with enough common sense, knew that this was a global problem. This because of the ever increasing global economy.

With most markets trading lower and lower than ever, it put a strain on many governments to act with haste. This weekend, the G7 met to discuss what measures would need to be taken by the respective countries in order to stabilize the trading markets. So, what was discussed? More importantly, what was agreed on?

Here is the G7 Plan of Action:

The G7 agrees today that the current situation calls for urgent and exceptional action. We commit to continue working together to stabilize financial markets and restore the flow of credit, to support global economic growth. We agree to:

1) Take decisive action and use all available tools to support systemically important financial institutions and prevent their failure.

2) Take all necessary steps to unfreeze credit and money markets and ensure that banks and other financial institutions have broad access to liquidity and funding.

3) Ensure that our banks and other major financial intermediaries, as needed, can raise capital from public as well as private sources, in sufficient amounts to re-establish confidence and permit them to continue lending to households and businesses.

4) Ensure that our respective national deposit insurance and guarantee programs are robust and consistent so that our retail depositors will continue to have confidence in the safety of their deposits.

5) Take action, where appropriate, to restart the secondary markets for mortgages and other securitized assets. Accurate valuation and transparent disclosure of assets and consistent implementation of high quality accounting standards are necessary.

The actions should be taken in ways that protect taxpayers and avoid potentially damaging effects on other countries. We will use macroeconomic policy tools as necessary and appropriate. We strongly support the IMF's critical role in assisting countries affected by this turmoil. We will accelerate full implementation of the Financial Stability Forum recommendations and we are committed to the pressing need for reform of the financial system. We will strengthen further our cooperation and work with others to accomplish this plan.

With this plan in action, it causes many to ponder whether Washington acted too soon. Certainly, it makes more sense to take a step back when trying to enact such a broad bill, and meet with these countries to come up with a global plan. Global economics is not limited to only Americans, but is open to all.

Many in Washington seem to be left scratching their heads at how they couldn't have come up with this plan. Many people are left wondering why Washington tried to act so fast versus taking their time and coming up with such a plan.

General Motors Merger Talks?


Right now, General Motors is in possible merger talks with Chrysler after first approaching Ford. Ford dismissed the idea of a merger, but Chrysler seems to be somewhat interested. This is not to say that all of this talk is nothing more than just that, all talk. But, with all three of the US auto manufacturers hurting for sales, one must wonder.

GM's problem, and possibly the whole reason they are searching for a partner, is GMAC. What is GMAC? GMAC Financial Services is a diversified, global financial services company that operates in approximately 40 countries in automotive finance, real estate finance, insurance and commercial finance businesses. With so many financial service companies in turmoil, it is no wonder that these talks could ultimately lead to a merger.

So, who could be leading these talks? Cerberus Capital Management, L.P. Who is that? They invest primarily in companies which are near bankruptcy. Cerberus owns around 80% of Chrysler, and 51% of GMAC when GM sold it to them on November 30, 2006. Owning the majority of both GM and Chrysler, it only makes sense that they would want to merge the two to maintain their investment return opportunity.

While all of this is still just talk, it certainly looms in the back of millions of those minds who are employed by either of these two auto giants. These employees need to be reassured, and only for one simple fact. The CEO's are acting in the best interest of the employees and the companies, and NOT letting the government step in and socialize the auto industry.

Henry Paulson: Timeline for Fraud


Henry Paulson, the Secretary of Treasury, could go down in history as the biggest fraud this nation has ever witnessed. Many would argue that he has and is robbing BILLIONS of money from not only Americans, but all accross the world. Millions and millions of people are seeing thier money disapear at an alarming rate.

So, here is a little of the history of Paulson and his scam.

Prior to May 2006: Employed as the CEO of Goldman Sachs.

May 2006: Left GS to serve as US Treasury Secretary.

Spring 2007: Told an audience at the Shanghai Futures that "An open, competitive, and liberalized financial market can effectively llocate scarce resources in a manner that promotes stability and prosperity far better than governmental intervention."

August 2007: Explained that US subprime mortgage fallout remained largely contained due to the strongest global economy in decades.

July 20, 2008: After the failure of one bank, he reassured the public by saying, "it's a safe banking system, a sound banking system. Our regulators are on top of it. This is a very manageable situation."

August 10, 2008: Told NBC's Meet the Press that he had no plans to inject any capital into Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac.
September 7, 2008: Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac went into conservatorship.

September 21, 2008: GS received Federal Reserve approval to transition from an investment bank to a bank holding company.

October 3, 2008: US Government passes "Bailout Bill"

Who would appoint to Sec. of Treasury?
M - Warren Buffet, Meg Whittman(sp), someone who inspires trust and confidence
O - Warren Buffet, someone who helps the middle-class, McCain is right

What in the bailout will help the people?
M - attacks Obama and his "cronies" for lending and getting contributions from Fannie and Freddie
O - says that credit markets are frozen, problem was deregulation, says he tried to re-regulate over the last two years, THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF THE PROCESS AND NOT THE END

Will it get worse?
O - says that we need to coordinate with other countries
M - the workers are the best and effective

How can we trust either when both parties got us here?
O - Washington is different from the way things are done in the home, talks about the increase of the debt, SPEND MORE MONEY ON THINGS, make spending cuts
M - has worked on reform against things like this, look at records and not the rhetoric, Obama proposes $800b in more spending, look at the records

What are highest priorities?
M - all can be worked on at the same time, build nuclear plants and create more jobs
O - energy first, health care second, education third

What sacrifices will you ask of Americans?
M - eliminate all that isn't working, ELIMINATE EARMARKS, cut key spending, establish priorities

Use of combat services if not national security?
O - we have a moral obligation, can't be everywhere at once, INCREASE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY
M - attacks Obama on withdrawl plan, we are the greatest force for good, must be able to beneficially effect situation

Pakistan or Al-Queda in Afghanistan?
O - move from Iraq to Afghanistan and change ways with Pakistan
M - says Obama wants to announce military attacks, speak softly and responsibly
O - if Pakistan won't help then we'll do it, agrees with McCain
M - would not telegraph his attack

America's Change in Democracy

America could now be described as a totalitarian democracy. That isn't a term many people are familiar with. It may be important to start with defining the term: totalitarianism.

Totalitarianism can be defined as: The principle of absolute control and unrestricted domination by a government. Using this definition, one can easily understand what a totalitarian democracy is. It is a system of government which elected representatives are to maintain the integrity of a nation whose citizens, while granted the right to vote, have little or no participation in the decision-making process. It is also noted that it is said to control the lives of its people, using a dual rationale of "public good" and majority rule. This rationale is usually interpreted by the economic and political elite to suit their own interests.

One might also argue that totalitarian regimes or movements maintain themselves in political power by means of an official all-embracing ideology and propaganda disseminated through the state-controlled mass media, central state-controlled economy, and widespread use of terror tactics.

So, what does this have to with the recent government bailout?

Or should one ask, "Did your elected official vote the way you wanted them to?"

Taking a look at the percentage of people who were opposed to any form of a bailout, one would be hard pressed to answer the previous question with a resounding, "Yes." So lets take a little deeper look into the idea of labeling America a totalitarian democracy.

The government presented this bailout, not as a bailout but a buy-in. And that is exactly what it was for every tax paying citizen, a buy-in. The citizens were forced to buy into the failing institutions with the "idea" that it would "stabilize the market" and allow banks to freely lend money again. But, isn't that what originally got these companies into a free fall in the first place? Were they not told by the government, in the '90's under the Clinton administration, to open up and more leniently loan money to those that could not honestly afford it? Is that the only place to focus our blame, on the failed presidencies of then and now?

Under the direction of the government, saying that everyone should be able to live the American dream of owning a house, the lending companies freely lent out money to those who knowing could not afford it. These individuals were not asked to prove what they could afford, but simply said they were living the American dream. That is not all. One need also look to the Federal Reserve for consistently dropping the interest rate to attract those looking for home-ownership.

What about the people? Do they not take some blame? Most certainly does the blame fall on them. The government did not force them to sign the papers. The lending companies did not force them to sign either. The individual made the choice to knowingly get themselves into trouble and sign papers for what they could not afford. However, many if not all these people pointing fingers at the lending banks for offering a detrimental Adjustable Rate Mortgage(ARM).

The first clue to this "economic crisis", was offering something that was adjustable. Because, in the end, it will adjust itself to make up for what it lost at the start of the loan. But that isn't all.

People began to quickly loose their homes and the lending companies began to panic, as well did the government. The economy began to slow, almost to a halt, and speedily the government stepped in and offered a proposal to the people that they would be sending out a "stimulus check." The government tried to sell this idea to the people saying that it will put money into their hands to freely spend. However, like always, the government was a ways past being late. The people were already past due on their mortgages, overdrawn on their bank accounts, and in an abundance of credit card debt. The government wanted people to go out and spend this money on frivolous things, but the people knew better. They spent it catching up so as not to loose their homes or even their cars.

This is when Americas shift to a totalitarian democracy became very prominent. Without any regard to the opinion of the people, the elected officials went against what the people wished. The people knew that this was too good to be true, and that it would cost them even more because they, the people, would be paying for it with their taxes. Months went by, and the economy was still in turmoil. The little trust the people had in their government, would soon cease to exist when their elected officials went against their wishes and voted yes to the bailout bill.

This $700 billion bailout of the banks, and the takeover of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac is arguably the largest communistic socialist movement that America has ever witnessed. With referral to The Communist Manifesto, the movement in question is the centralization of credit in the banks of the state, by means of a national bank with state capital and an exclusive monopoly. With the bailing out of these industries, and amounting the socializing of their loses to the American people through the government, one is forced to take a hard look at the previous statement. Even more alarming, is what Cleon Skousen, in The Naked Communist, raised on the floor of the House on January 10, 1963 saying that the goals of the Communist Party included, but not limited to infiltrate and gain control of big business. Another goal was to infiltrate the press and get control of editorial writing, and policy-making positions.

Does any of this sound familiar?

Our big businesses have, and are being controlled by the government.
The "free" press and their editorial writing is controlled by scare tactics against the people.
A centralized state of credit by means of a nationally backed bank.

So, take a look at what totalitarianism is again. Did your voice matter in this recent government interaction? Where you properly represented by your elected officials? Are those elected officials suiting their interests or yours? Is the media using scare tactics to change the way you think? Is the integrity of this great nation still in tact? Is this the start of a new America?

VP Debate 2008 Notes

First starting off about the "bailout" in Washington this week.
Biden referring to when McCain made comment about how the economy is fundamentally strong. - Palin explains that the people make the economy strong.

Sub-Prime meltdown: who is at fault?
Palin says lenders at fault for telling people they can afford a house they really can't. Says that the people should not be taken advantage of. - Biden attacks McCain about how he "tried to deregulate." - Palin says the people need a tax relief, but says Obama and Biden voted FOR the largest tax increase ever. - Biden attacks Palin for not defending.

Raising taxes
Biden says that McCain's tax proposal would increase middle class taxes. Says that the super wealthy don't need a tax cut. - Palin addresses how Obama wants to redistribute wealth. Tells government to get out of the way and let the private sector work. Talks about how McCain wants to give health care tax credit for those who get health care on their own. - Biden doesn't call it redistribution but rather fairness. Calls McCain's health care proposal a bridge to nowhere.

Bailout this week
Biden says doesn't want to give Exxon a tax credit but he wants to create alternative energy jobs. (Exxon invests millions of their own money for alternative energy sources.) - Palin talks about how the people come first, and tells how she broke up the monopoly in Alaska that Obama voted for. Says the bailout plan needs to have MASSIVE OVERSIGHT. - Biden says that Obama/Biden want to do what Palin did in Alaska with the windfall profit tax.

Economy - Made harder to get out of mortgage debt/bankruptcy
Palin praises McCain for calling out this problem years ago. - Biden admits he voted against Obama on this issue. - Palin goes back to energy independence saying it is too important not to. Says that America is giving too many other countries OUR money. Talks about how energy independence is vital.

Energy Independence
Palin says doesn't want to argue about climate change, but wants to focus on energy independence. - Biden says that the climate change is "manmade." - Palin says that the people know drilling isn't the answer but that it can be used to help. Says that Obama and Biden have voted against all ideas. Says that McCain supports an all-the-above plan. McCain supports clean-coal. - Biden supports clean-coal.

Do you support same sex benefits?
Biden says that when in office, would make same sex marriages would have the same Constitutional rights as hetrosexual couples. - Palin says it is tollerant to allow people to make their own choices as couples. Supports "traditional marriage." - Biden says Obama/Biden pretty much doesn't support gay marriage. - Palin says they agree.

Exit strategy in Iraq?
Palin says that we have a great plan and attacks saying Obama voted against the surge and troop funding. Says that we DO have an exit plan, and can start moving troops into Afghanistan. - Biden says we need a timeline and we spend too much to fund the troops. - Palin says Obama/Biden plan is a white flag plan. Attacks Biden on how he would be happy to run with McCain, and then attacks saying Biden didn't think Obama was ready. - Biden says McCain has been dead wrong on the fundamentals of the war.

Greater threat - Nuclear Iran or Unstable Pakistan
Biden says Pakistan has nuclear weapons and is very dangerous. Says we need to support the government of Pakistan. - Palin says a nuclear armed Iran is too dangerous of an idea. Refers to the Axis of Evil as leaders Obama would sit down with them without preconditions. Says it is beyond bad judgement. - Biden says Obama didn't say that he would sit down with Ahmedinejad.

Israel support?
Palin is for support. - Biden says no one else feels stronger for Israel than him. Says that Iran is on the march. Says that we do need to support Israel. - Palin happy they both love Israel. Says reform is coming, and the power will be put back into the hands of the people. - Biden says that McCain's policy is the same as Bush.

Nuclear weaponry - when to step in?
Palin says we need to have our friends need to back us in not allowing others to use nuclear weaponry. Says Obama thinks we are doing nothing but dropping bombs on houses in Afghanistan. - Biden says we need a surge and to spend more money in Afghanistan. Says we need to have nuclear weapon oversight. (But Obama didn't want either for Iraq.)

Dar fur
Biden says stable government in Bosnia. Says we can impose a No-Fly zone and should. - Palin says they voted for war before they were against it, or vise-versa. Says should be a No-Fly zone over Dar fur. - Biden says should be a line drawn on when to engage or intervene. - Palin still questioning how Obama and Biden voted about the war. Says McCain knows how to win a war.

Presidency is a heart-beat away
Biden says that Obama presidency would be different than Biden presidency, but would carry out Obama's policies. Says this is the most important election in history. - Palin says would continue McCain's policies, and put more power back into hands of the people. Bring more small town to Washington. - Biden says McCain is no different than Bush. - Palin attacks Biden on comparing McCain to Bush saying "say it ain't so Joe." Says would focus more attention on education.

Vice Presidency (Jokes?)
Palin says we all know what the Vice Presidency does. Discusses how she really wants to work on education and children with special needs. - Biden says Obama wanted his help to govern. (Does that mean that Barack openly says he isn't qualified?) Says Cheney is the most dangerous Vice President.

Conventional wisdom - Palin: experience - Biden: lack of dicipline
Palin explains she is plenty experienced. - Biden talks about things he has "done."

Biden intellectually changed view on judges. - Palin says never really compromized on anything, but came to agreement.

Biden says has worked across the lines. Says has never questioned someones motive. - Palin says it doesn't matter where you come from, but rather how you work together.

Closing statements
Palin says she just wants to talk to the people, and doesn't like to talk to the MSM. Says that we need to fight for our freedoms and protect them. Quotes Regan. - Biden says this is the most important election in history. Says that America got knocked down, and needs to get up.
